P-EBT Benefits for ND Students
Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) provides food assistance to families with students who would have received free or reduced lunch while attending school but are not in school due to COVID-19 restrictions. Families with eligible children will be issued a card with which they may purchase food. To be eligible, school must be a participant in the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, or the Community Eligibility Provision AND would have been closed for 5 consecutive days (COVID reasons). Also, additional eligibility happens if North Daviess offers an online-only option not normally offered (COVID Academy) or a student was remote learning temporarily due to COVID-19.
- Be sure your current address is on file with North Daviess to receive your benefits in a timely manner.
- Remember to keep your card once received
- Current eligible months: October-December 2021
- Submit a list of eligible students each quarter to the Division of Family Resources
North Daviess has already submitted information for the January deadline and will be doing the same in April. If eligible, be on the lookout for those P-EBT cards. For questions or additional information, please contact the NDCSC Food Service Director, Mr. Tim Stoner (812-636-8000 x1000) or visit the following website: in.gov/fssa/dfr/.
